Sarah McAfee is the director of communications at Center for Health Progress, where she advances health equity through communications that build solidarity and inspire action. Known for being able to do a lot with a little, she excels at turning chaos and complexity into order and clarity, and she makes the boring, beautiful. Her award-winning campaigns have opened hearts and minds, and her leadership is helping to change the way Colorado's nonprofit sector communicates. Originally from Alaska, Sarah earned a bachelor’s in anthropology and a master’s in public administration from Arizona State University, and then settled on Colorado as a happy medium, temperature-wise.
